Haircuts today!

My friend Amber is giving Melody and Aaron haircuts today after school.  I thought it would be fun to do before and after photos of them.  So here's the before....

Oh gorgeous hair, if only thou couldst maintain thyself...

But...Oh yeah!, we did it. We chopped our little lady's long locks off. Her newest 'do is the ever-so-stylish-and-easy-to-maintain swing bob.  I made the appointment after tens of thousands of , "Brush your hair, no...do a good job brushing it...you need to take care of your hair or I'm going to have it chopped off!...be still while I comb it!...It wouldn't hurt if you kept STILL!...Quit whining!"

Aaron is being promoted!

Congratulations Aaron and thank you so much Mrs. Moore for guiding my son in kindergarten this year.  I am so happy that we got you as a teacher again.  Aaron, you are on your way to doing great and important things.  Thank you son for being a good student and getting your work done.  I think you are an excellent reader and a smarty-pants. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to.  Whatever you choose to be when you grow up, I know you'll be great at it.  You look so handsome in your promotion picture.

Subway Fun

A few nights ago I took Melody, and Aaron and we escaped for a meal at Subway together.  Those 2 kids are a hoot...it was a very entertaining meal.  I had a lot of fun and I hope we can do it again soon.  It's cool having a camera on your cell phone.  It means I can catch silly moments like this pretty much all the time.
